Cardinal Reels is Catholic University's very own film festival, showcasing the films created by the talented students of the Media and Communication Studies department. Ranging from a documentary about a Brookland-based jazz club to a narrative about the price a gifted painter pays for his craft, the short films produced by the students draw on the elements of filmmaking taught in the various production courses and their unique creative vision.
