MCS students interned with Academy-Award nominee Anna Jhirad in the production of "The Last Battlefront: Quest for the Vote in Washington, DC", a feature-length documentary about the struggle for voting rights for DC residents. They conducted archival research at the Library of Congress, worked with a professional film crew interviewing major political figures, and learned about the racism behind DC residents' lack of self-governance and representation in Congress.
