  • Dr. Patrick Brame is an academic coach and lecturer in the Media Studies and English departments at The Catholic University of America. His research focuses on the experience of film exhibition and spectatorship in the twentieth century American home and its nuanced relationship to gender roles, interior design, class identity, and other domestic media objects. Dr Brame has taught a variety of courses over the years: The Blockbuster Film, Participatory Media, Intro to Media and Communication Studies, Film History: World War II to the Present, Entertainment Arts: Film, TV, and the Internet, Introduction to College Writing, and Introduction to Research and Writing. In addition to teaching, Patrick was a writing tutor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is originally from Lewisburg, PA
